FROM OUR FOUNDER

I understand that it is the norm in banking and money management circles to share a document like this with the intent that potential investors might learn about my work and my business. I respect that, but honestly, I have to say that a written document with stagnant words on paper is my last choice for communicating to you what The Organic Gardener (TOG) is all about.

While there is plenty of paper, permits and documentation in my business (I am, after all, a licensed New York City contractor), the guts of my work has to do with my personal relationships with leading architectural and construction firms in metropolitan New York City. My client list represents a who’s who in the commercial architectural design and construction world along with a celebrity list of high-net-worth individuals who hire us to work at their private residences. The split is about 60/40 commercial and residential.

We are about transforming sterile, ugly, tar covered rooftops into beautiful, peaceful retreats where a myriad of plants, trees and people grow and flourish.  We are about open sky and sunshine. We are about people stepping out of their office, condo or apartment and forgetting the to-do lists, the Zoom meetings, the demands and worries of the day. We create mini sanctuaries of beauty, health and tranquility in the crazy, tough, competitive world of metropolitan New York City. Our private clients appreciate our design and build work, which they enjoy with friends and family. And our commercial clients understand that creating these sanctuaries helps distinguish their properties and gives them a significant edge and increased value in the competitive NYC real estate market.

I started this business from scratch in 2005. Grew it to almost $4M in 2017. Took a hit during Covid and survived. At age 42 I’m experienced and ready to take The Organic Gardener to $15M, $25M million and beyond. The growth opportunity is enormous. Our reputation and brand are well respected. I routinely beat out the much larger competition because our design, art, construction, and finished product is superior.  It’s that simple. We’re not bigger, but better.

Please do review the next few pages of information. But then please let’s meet! We’ll walk the streets and I’ll show you what the opportunity looks like. Plants and trees need water and sunlight to grow. We need $3M to expand to $25M. A bountiful financial harvest is in the offing. I hope you’ll consider helping to plant the seed.
